God of the Week: Teshub

Teshub is an ancient Hurrian storm god. He is often depicted holding a three headed lightening bolt, standing on or near his sacred animal, the bull. Similar to other Levatine sky gods, like El and Yahweh, there is a story of him slaying a dragon, Illuyanka.
