    I just felt something!

Might have been the diet pepsi I’ve drank though… hrm.

Oh well, I’m pretty much fucked anyway right Camping? So… nothing to stop me going out on a wild and eeeeevil binge in these last few hours before midnight EST?
brb, reading some more Douglas Hofstadter and then heading out for the night to dance like an especially uncoordinated monkey.

Douglas Hofstadter, yeah. There’s a strange story about him in the Psychopath Test (Jon Ronson). Interesting guy.

Harold Camping’s prediction of the actual Apocalypse doesn’t seem to be anywhere near as popular as his prediction of the Rapture (May 21st). Go figure. You would thing that the world ending would get more press that the half dozen “true” Christians getting sucked up into outer space.

Rotten deity didn’t even end the world while I was peacefully asleep either. I had to get up and go to work.

*shakes a fist at the sky while muttering rather violent words

Oh well, I’m sure that NEXT time the prediction/revelation/etc will be spot on and the apocalypse will happen. Next time it’ll really be an ironclad proof rather than the apparently not-quite-ironclad proof we had this time.
